At Ubersein, we have always considered that - no matter how beautiful a dog may be - temperament and soundness must be at the forefront of all breeding decisions.  As part of the agreement of sale, we ask ALL puppy purchasers, whether they buy their dog as a pet OR breeding show prospect, agree to have their dog officially Hip and Elbow Xrayed after 12 months of age.  These statistics are not only very helpful in us making safer future breeding choices, but are also there on public record for other breeders to take into evaluation. 

We do not always DEMAND that every puppy is Xrayed - if we have a sufficient sample from the show/breeding prospects, or if it is a litter that for other reasons we decide not to breed on with the lines, we do not unnecessarily inconvenience pet owners, so for this reason we do not have a 100% result rate.  HOWEVER, we do have by far the most, and the highest proportion of results for any one established Rottweiler kennel in all Australian history.
